Chimney Sweep North London

Jordan Brothers have been chimney sweeps in North London for the last twenty years. We cover all of the boroughs which include Enfield, Haringey, Barnet, Islington and Camden. In Enfield we work in areas from Forty Hall and Enfield Town in the north of the borough down through Southgate, Oakwood and Bush Hill Park towards the southern edge of the borough with places like Edmonton, Winchmore Hill, Grange Park and Palmers Green.

Most of the chimney sweeps we do will be in two storey houses which were built after 1900 and between the wars. In Haringey there is a more diverse housing stock for us to chimney sweep with places like Bounds Green, Bowes Park, Wood Green and the Haringey Ladder. These areas can have a lot of older Victorian terraced houses for us to chimney sweep and these are still mainly two storey. When we sweep chimneys the number of storeys in the building will make a difference to how long the chimney flue is and how difficult it may be to sweep. Other areas of Haringey tend to have taller buildings these include Crouch End, Muswell Hill, Alexandra Palace, Archway and Highgate. Chimney sweeping in Barnet can be very varied from High Barnet, Totteridge and Arkley in the North of the borough all the way through all the Areas of Finchley, Hendon and Mill Hill to Hampstead Garden Suburb, Highgate and Hampstead. This borough has every sort of house type for us to chimney sweep.

The borough of Islington has a much older housing stock with lots of the houses being Georgian or Victorian these types of houses can be very tall with up to four floors. Areas like Highbury, Finsbury Park, Holloway, Tuffnell Park all have a variety of older houses for us to chimney sweep. Camden is very similar to Islington in its housing stock but it does have more of a mix between larger and smaller properties. Camden Town and Kentish Town have lots of smaller Victorian terraces but just up the road you have Hampstead, Primrose Hill and Belsize Park with their much larger villas and townhouses which we sweep on a regular basis. We ask customers how many storeys their building has when booking, as this has a bearing on the complexity of the sweep.
